NEW: Ski Fitness Programme kicking off this January

Every year thousands of skiers and boarders are injured on the slopes. A huge number of accidents could be avoided if people were better prepared for the six hours a day they intend to spend on the mountain.

So this year I have teamed up with Hermitage based ski clothing retailer Montagne Sports and developed a unique 6 week course that will prepare you for the slopes. 

The aim of the programme is to get you strong and ready for your holiday so you can have the experience possible and come home with minimal aches, pains or worse. As well as looking at mobility and flexibility the sessions will focus on strengthening muscles, tendons and ligament, particularly around the ankles, knees and hips as well as improving co-ordination and sharpening reflexes.


Sessions will be held at the outdoor clothing store on Thursdays and Sundays (RG18 9TG).


There are two programmes taking place in 2017.

  • Programme 1: 8th January to 9th February
  • Programme 2: 23rd February to 26th March


Each programme costs £100 with only limited places available.
